peregrinat- an- A Thomas Manning Dead. Thomas Manning, brother of John Manning of this city, died at his home, Highland, Wis., yesterday forenoon at 9:55. Word was immediately tele graphed to his mother and John, and his sister, Mrs. Helium, in this city. Owing to the poor health of his mother John was unable to be present at the funeral, although very anxious to go. Thomas was well known in Deadwood, where be landed in the early eighties. He and bis bruther-in-law, bruther-in-law, bruther-in-law, bruther-in-law, bruther-in-law, Michael Hefforn, ran a livery stable on Main street where the Only restaurant ni stands, below the present site of the Bullock. He went back to Wiscousiu seven years ago. Deceased was born in Ireland July lutn, iHio, and came to America in 1847. He went to Col orado in 1863, during the frontier days ot that state. A wife and live dangh teis survive him. Three of his daugb ters live in Montana, the other two being at home.
