At a Bridging Ceremony held June the following Junior Girl Scouts were received into Cadettes: Koslyn Gordon, Terri Whitmore, Linda Maly, Carol Creager, Troop HG5; Angela Harris, Charlene Ambush, Mary Lou Smith, Debbie Shankle, April Fulmer, Lcda Sewell, Lolita Hall, Troop 178. Cadette Troop 321 presented these awards to troop members: Bernetta Brown, Traveler and Troops' Own Handcraft badges, Challenge pins for Knowing Myself, the Out-of-Doors and E m e r g e n c y Preparedness; Creager, Reporter Traveler and Handcraft badges, Challenge pins for Girl Scout Promise, Knowing Myself, O u t - o f - D o o r s , a Preparedness; Debbie Burgee, Traveler and Handcraft badges, Challenge pins for the Girls Scout promise, Knowing M y s e l f , t h e E m e r g e n c y Preparedness; Carroll, Traveler and Handcraft My Camera (Junior badge) and Challenge pin for the Out-of-Doors; Caroline Eader, Home Nurse, Traveler and Handcraft badges and Challenge pins for the Girl Scout Promise, Myself and the Out-of-Doors; Sharon Fry, Traveler and Handcraft badges, Challenge pins for Knowing Myself, G i r l S c o u t Promise Out-of-Doors; Tracie Smith, Reporter, T r a v e l e r and Handcraft Challenge pins for the Girl Scout P r o m i s e , Knowing M y O u t - o f - D o o r s a Preparedness; Karen Speak, Traveler and Handcraft badges and Challenge pins for the Girl Scout Promise and O u t - o f - D o o r s . Challenge pin for Knowing Myself, Shirlee Whittier, Traveler badge and Challenge pin for Knowing Myself. Eight members of Cadette Troop received the highest award in Cadette Scouting by earning a combination badges and-or Challenge pins. These girls became recognized as First Class Scouts: Bernetta Brown, daughter of Mr. Mrs. Bernard W. Brown, 220 Thomas Ave., has been a Scout for eight She is also a member of the youth and choir at her church, gymnastics team, FTA and FHA and Band at Frederick, and is interested in ballet tap dancing Kathy Creager, daughter of Mr. Mrs. John M. Creager, 309 Willow has been a Scout for eight years. been the president of the Cadette Planning Board this year, a member her church choir, a member of the Frederick High Band and a Red First Aid Instructor's Aide. Caroline Eader, daughter of Mr. Mrs. Bernard Eader, Rt 6, Oak has been a Scout for eight years. member of the gymnastics team at Frederick and of FCC Agil-teens. She interested in piano and art. Sharon Fry, daughter of Mr. and Carl L. Fry, 358 Catoctin Ave., has a Scout for two years. She is a the Frederick High Band and is also interested in camping. Karen Speak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Speak, 321 Catoctin has been a Scout for seven years. also a member of her church choir FHA at West Frederick. Debbie Burgee, daughter of Mr. Mrs. L. Merhl Burgee, 382 Pearl St., been a Scout for seven years. She member of the West Frederick Bank, Hyattstown Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and Marching Unit and is interested in bowling. Beth Creager, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Creager, 309 Willow
