Marie Troncin MONTICELLO - Marie Troncin, 83, 1610 W. Washington St., died at 10:45 p.m. Saturday at her daughter's home in Lafayette. She had been ill for nine months and seriously ill for one week. She was born Aug. 27, 1900, in Shelbyville, to Adolf and Mary Elizabeth Wilcoxsin Bush. She was married on Oct. 17, 1924, to John B Troncin, who died June 30,1975. ' She was a member of United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Senior Citizens' Club, Mothers' Club, and Thalia Club, all at Monticello. . . ,, She moved to Monticello in 1958 from Attica, where she taught elementary school. She also taught in Buffalo. Surviving are three daughters, Barabara Jean Jones, Lafayette; Rosalind Kitchen, Chatham, 111., and Laura (Bobbbie) Schippmann Memphis, Term.; a son, Bill, Monticello; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home, with the Revs. Bob Lewis and Bob Fosselman officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Monticello. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church Youth Group.
