Widow Former Meihodist Minister Dies WACO, May 14—(Spl)— Mrs. Wallace Vinsant, widow of a well-known Methodist minister in Central Texas, died at her home in Waco early Saturday at the age of 87. Funeral services will be held at the First Methodist church in Waco Monday at 2 p. m., with Rev. C. H. Cole, Dr. Maggart B. Howell, and Rev. Don Johnson Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Waco. Mrs. Vinsant was the widow of the late Rev. Wallace Vinsant, who served several pastorates in Navarro and adjoining counties counties prior to his retirement. He died Sept. 14, 1953. Survivors are a son, Roy C. Vinsant, Oklahoma City; five daughters, Mrs. Irene Daniel and Mrs. Ruth Dove, both of Waco; Mrs. Ethel Rhodes, Dallas; Mrs. Esther Mitchell, Temple; Mrs. Keren Charles, Elgin Air Force Base, Fla.; two brothers, Oscar Wright, Houston; and Merle Wright, Shreveport, La.; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and other relatives. Wilkersom-Hatchett Funreal Home is in charge of services.
