PAGE 2 — THE DAILY NEWS, Arthur Foster Arthur E. Foster, 71, of Mapleton Depot, died'at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 1975, at the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. He had been in failing health since since October and a patient at the hospital for one day. Born December 18,1903, he was a son of Harry D. and Annie (Harshbarger) Foster. He was married to the former Rintha Sellers of Mount Union, who preceded in death in 1926. Surviving are two children, the Rev. Kennard Foster of Shade Gap and Mrs. Palma (Nancy) Longacre of Dauphin. Eight brothers and sisters remain. Clair, Star Route. Huntingdon; Mrs. John (Mary) Romuk and Mrs. Donald (Mildred) Stewart, both of Huntingdon; Frank and Abraham, both of Mapleton Depot; Oliver, Mount Union; Mrs. Harry (Evelyn) Jacobs. Wilmington, Wilmington, Del. and Mrs. Alma Chilcote. with whom the deceased resided. Mapleton Depot. Mr. Foster was of the Protestant faith. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 322 at Mapleton Depot and also belonged to the Clear Ridge Sportsmen's Association. In 1966. he retired from the Harbison-Walker Refrac- tories at Mount Union. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday. April 2. from the Heath funeral home in Mount Union. The Rev. Kennard Foster will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Clarence A. Chubb. Friends may call at the funeral home until 9 p.m. this Tuesday evening, and on Wednesday Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time for services.
