Loren Kent, Collector of Customs at Galveston, who died of the epidemic which prevailed in that city last summer, arrived here this morning on tne Clinton, for transhipment to the old home of the deceased. The transfer of the body, last Sunday, from the cemetery in Galveston to the steamer was made the occasion of a very marked demonstration of resDect on the part of the citizens to the memory of the late Col lector.
