Playing Santa Claus, Eugene Libby. Green as Evergreen, Francis Libby. The recitations were followed by two plays: First 1'lay—Uncle Grouch Characters—Uncle Grouch, Lawrence Lawrence Libby; Mary, Alice Libby; Joe, .William Hedrington; Eve, Lois Desormaux. Following the first play a solo was sung by Luella Peffers, "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day." Second Play— Tiie Beautiful "Three licars" Characters—Big Bear, Lawrence Libby; Middle Sized Bear, Luella Pcffcr; Little Bear, William Hedrington; Hedrington; Goldilocks, Kathyrne Hedrington; Hedrington; Red Riding Hood, Mary Wcgcr; Little Brother, Everett Thorne. Merry Christmas—a takeoff from that old favorite story, "The Threa Bears and Goldilocks." During the interim of this play a group of three Christmas selections were sung: Jingle Bells, Silent Night, and Up on the House Top. Accompanists were Mrs. Bergeron Bergeron and Sherwood Parks. The program ended with a visit from Santa Claus and a box social.
