a the was was to The a last a Mrs happiness. DEATH OF 'AN OLD RESIDENT ELIJAH BOLANDER WAS EIGHTY, EIGHTY, FIVE YEARS OLD. Was a Veteran of the Civil War and Had Lived In Chillicothe Thirty-two Years. Elijah Bolander, one of the oldest residents of Livingston county, died at his home on Hickory street at 5:55 Thursday evening, of old age "and general debility. Mr. Bolander would have been years old next April. He was born in Brown county, Ohio, 15, 1817, and came to Chillicothe 32 years ago. During a number of years preceding his death he had been in very feeble health. Mr. Bolander was a veteran the civil war, serving in the Sixteenth Indiana volunteers. He had been married three times, third wife, who was Mrs. Cheney prior to her marriage to him, survives him. Eleven children were born to him of his first marriage and by his second and third marriages he became the step-father of fourteen children, making him father and step-father of twenty-five children.
