So spoke Eddie Lee Williams, 23. of Cleveland, climbing aboard an empty Regional Transit Authority ( R T A ) bus Sunday morning and going for a 3' before being apprehended in Sandusky County. Cleveland police said the bus driver, Delmus had lefl it running at E. 129th St. andSI.Clair Ave., in a restroom. Williams said he left the bus when made Ihe slop, but'rcboarded in several minutes Daskins hadri'l returned. "I really felt super, just driving along enjoying everything," said Williams, an unemployed bus boy janitor. Shortly afler hearing a radio report, lurrfpike Patrolmen Robert H. Waner spotted the bus, called help, and tried to get Williams to pull over. wouldn't budge though, and even look lo the shoulder evade his pursuers. Waner said Williams wasn't outmaneuvered unlil convoy of patrol cars and truckers, notified-by CB boxed Ihe bus in about 30 miles west of Cleveland. ."I was having a pretty nice time until the cops disturbed me," Williams said.
