Church Services Planned Here For Christmas Christmas eve church services ' Las Cruces will be highlighted midnight solmn high mass at Genevieve's church. Presiding wii be Fr. D. J. Kirgan, celebrant, D, J. Quigley, deacon, and a ciscan missionary father, sub-dea con. Special music will be provided by the church choir with a program of caroling from 11:30 until midnight. Then there will 1 be the unveiling and blessing of the crib. Choir members, taking part in the program are Dorothy Esser Edna Salome, Hortensia Soto Roaenda Medina, Angela Ortega Violet Maxwell, Martha May, Gibns, Mary Gibbs, Lupe Fibres Mike Armcndariz, Tommy Loomis, Tone McGinn/and Bill Lucky. A Christmas Eve candle light service with special music wil! feature the annual midnight services services of the Saint James Episcopal Church at Mesii'Ia Park. The services will begin at 11 o'clock. Paul G. Saunders, divinity graduate from the University of Chicago, Chicago, and former pastor of Joliet, Illinois, will deliver the Christmas Message which is entitled "What Good Can Come Out of Nazareth. 1 Mr. Saunders is professor of English English at New Mexico AM College. The musical program will be under the direction of Mrs. Tretsven, organist, and will include a trio composed of Mesdames Joseph Kearns,- Paul Saunders and Wayne Tretsven. An "Andante" number composed by Doppler will be given by two accomplished Flutists, Miss Anne Sieg and Mr, E. C. Moore. The program will include a prelude, prelude, "In Dulci Jubilo," by Each, processional, "O Come, All Ye Faithful 1 ,"- Liturgy and responses, carol, "The Fiist Noel," anthem, "Holy Night," flute solo, "Scene from Orpheus," by Gluck. offertory, offertory, "Angels We Have Heard," by trio, duet, "Andante," by Doppler, Doppler, recessional, "Joy to the World," by choir, blessing and meditation, "Silent Night," post- hide, "Allegro."
