Mrs. Will Morrissey Elkhnm—Mr% Will Morrissey, S2, socially prominent here for more than half a century, died early today in Lakeland hospital where she had been a patient for 10 days. , . Mrs. Morrissey was a charter member and first president of ;the. American Legion Auxiliarj- i here, and was a Gold Star Moth- I er, having lost a son. Howard, in World W'ar I. She was also a member of the Altar society and Ladies Social club of St. Patrick's Catholic church,- and serA'Pd several several j'ears as a deputy in the sheriff's dopartitient. A daughter of the late John and Maty Kelliher Shanahan Sr., the former Anna Shanahan was bom Jan. 29, 1867. in Richmond township. She moved to Elkhorn following her iharriage Feb. 3, 1892. to Will Morrissey in Delavan. Delavan. Since h'is death in 1941. she had lived with a daughter, Mrs. Joe Biagi. on Church street. Surviving besides the daughter -are tv.-o sons. Leonard, of Elkhorn, Elkhorn, and Dr. Arthur Morrissey. Racine: seven grandchildren and a great grandchild: a brother, John, and a sister, Ida Shanahan, both of Delavan. The funeral will be at 9 a. m. Saturday in St. Patrick's Catholic Catholic chtirch. the Rev. Walter Doherrv officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemeter\-. The rosary will be said at 8 p. m. Friday Friday at the Roed funeral home.
