to Afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hehns and Jo Ann, Moraji, spent the first of the week iere with relatives. Mrs. THelms .was formerly Miss Arvllla Gilliland of .Colony. Mrs. A. F. Huskey and Mrs. Xiydla Eckhoff left thiis morning for Junction Junction City. Mrs. Huskey wiU visit relatives there and in Abilene and Port Riley .for a weric .or two. Her son, Lowell Jackson, is In Fort Riley. Mr. and Mrs. Jc^ Gilliland and sons spent Sunday in Moran at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Wilbur HeUns. Mr. and Mrs. Gilliland and faittily are planning to leave soon for Twin Falls, Idaho, , to make their home. Hugh Owens began working today today In the cement plant at Chanute. Mrs. Roy Barron and sons, Leroy and Silly Jack, of LoHarpe, spent Sunday at the L. T. Barron home. Mrs. Polly Darnell and daughter Marcene, Bartlesville, Okla., spent yesterday at the Joe Gilliland home. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hoffmeier and son Donhie, lola, spent Sunday and Monday in Colony visiting Mrs. Hoffmeier's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Moslng. Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Fairfield, Delphos, J.
