Donna S. Ferre Former Payson Woman Dies In California PAYSON — Funeral services for Mrs. Donna Simons Ferre, 71, rf Whittier, Calif., formerly of Payson, Payson, who died recently in a Whittier Whittier hospital after an operation, were conducted in Whittier with burial in Rose Hills Memorial Park. Mrs. Ferre was born in Payson on July 26, 1887, a daughter of Enos Wells and Elizabeth Pickering Pickering Simons. A member of the LDS church, she was educated to Payson Payson and for a time was employed at the old Orem Railroad depot. She married Joseph Arthur Kerr in 1912 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Temple. He died of influenza during the epidemic of 1918. She later married Sesiel Ferre of Provo. They moved to Whittier some 30 years ago. Surviving are two brothers and a sister, Claude Simons of Kvans- ton, Wyo.; Allen Simons, Whlttler, Calif.; Mrs. Leland (Elizabeth) Elmer, Panquitch.
