Quincy Man Dies At 74 QUINCY — Funeral services were held today for Ray E. King, 74, of 4 Arnold St., Quincy, in the Diedrich Funeral Home, Quincy. There wee graveside services at the Lakeview Cemetery, Cemetery, Hillsdale, by the Sherman- Demorest-Rice Post 157, American American Legion. Mr. King died Saturday morning morning in the Community Hospital, Battle Creek, after an illness of several years. He was born in Ionia County, Jan. 27, 1894, to Riley and Winnie Winnie Lee King. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Sherman- ican Legion of Quincy and the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Kalamazoo. He was married in Cassopolis Sept. 1, 1914 to Bernice Doolittle, who survives. He is also survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bonnowyn Noel of Vicksburg; one son Carlton King of Quincy; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Bradley of Central Lake, Mrs. Edith Meitzler of Detroit and Mrs. Florence Empson of Grand Rapids; and three brothers, Clyde King of Grand Rapids, the Rev. Guy King of Escanaba Escanaba and the Rev. Paul King of Wadena, Minn.
