Jail Escapee POCATELLO (UPD— A man who escaped from the psychopathic psychopathic ward of the Denver County County Jail while awaiting trial on a murder charge was captured Tuesday Tuesday night here by agents of the FBI. Roger K. Thatcher, 28, the confessed confessed slayer of a 27-year-old Englewood, Colo, service station attendant, was lame with a broken leg when picked up outside a thea- 'tre here. He offered no resistance. Thatcher told officers he broke Ms leg in a fall about a week ago in Pocatello. Earlier, Colorado police had theorized he 'suffered an injury during the escape from a third floor dormitory window. It was believed he had pushed open a heavy mesh screen and jumped to the ground.
