PLEASANT GROVE Funeral Funeral services for Max Bowen Ferre, 59, of RD 2 Box 378-D, Pleasant Grove, who died at his home Thursday, Feb. 12, 1976 after an illness, will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Manila LDS Ward Chapel. Mr. Ferre was born May 3, 1916 in Provo, a son of Warren S. and Emma Bowen Ferre. He married Mildred Swenson on Aug. 5,1937 in Farmington. Mr. Ferre had been a fanner and owner and operator of Max's Texaco Service. For many years he was Utah County deputy sheriff. A member of the LDS Church, he was an elder in the Manila Ward at the time of his death. Survivors include his widow; four sons and two daughters, Max S. Ferre, Ogden; David Ferre, American Fork; Mrs. Steve (JoAnne) Chad wick, West Jordan; Michael, Sondra and Grant Ferre, all of Pleasant Grove; 17 grandchildren, and one brother, William D. "Bill" Ferre, Provo. Friends may call at Olpin Family Mortuary tonight from 7 to 9 o'clock or Monday at the ward chapel before services. Burial will be in Timpanogos Memorial Gardens.
