in of - DEATH OF AN OLD RESIDENT, Charles Emick, aged 70 years, who has made the South Side his home ever since coming from Germany many years ago, died in the Lackawanna hospital yesterday morning at 10 o'clock. Mr. Emick lived a bachelor's life adjoining Natter's hall on Alder street, and had been In the employ of the L., I. & S. at the old rail mill over sixteen years. On Monday he complained of not feeling well, a cold having settled on his lungs which developed into a severe attack of grip. 'He was removed to the hospital and died as above stated. He is survived by two married daughters, one In New Jersey and one In Elmlra, where the remains will be shipped to day. to no the
