Ukiah Daily Journal: 8 Jan 1982: Theilig will discuss God as love and law
Theilig will discuss God as love and law Mankind is eternally seeking a better understanding of himself and his relationship to life, believes Rev. Suzanne Theilig. Religion has provided some answers; science has provided some answers; philosophy has provided some answers. In her Sunday message "God is Love, yet God is Law," at the Ukiah Church of Religious Science at 741S. Oak St., Ukiah, Rev. Theilig will present ideas that can clarify some of the confusion that has inevitably arisen in understanding our relationship to God. As love, God has given us all the resources necessary to a good life; as law, the responsibility shifts to man to accept and conciously respond to the gift of life. Services begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 13, at 8 p.m. the topic will be "The Church at Philadelphia," this is a continuation of the study of the Book of Revelations. The final attainment of peace is represented by the Church at Philadelphia, this week's subject. On Thursday, January 14, from 12:10 to 12:50 p.m. a new series on prosperity will begin.
