department $5 on the 8 20 Plead Guilty Twenty cases, in which the de- fendants entered ·were disposed o! pleas of guilty, in last night's session of feedral court. Most of the cases involved violations of internal revenue laws. Elsie Shepard, Jefferson City, pleaded guilty to sale of liquor was given 3 months in the Moniteau county jail. John Tuck, Browns Station In Boone county, pleaded guilty to operating an unlicensed still and given a year and a day at the Leaven worth federal prison. Norbert Grafe, Meta, pleaded guilty to operating an unlicensed still and sentence was deferred until his status could be investigated. Grafe stated he is the sole of his family. Dennis Fennessey, Meta, one year at Leavenworth for possession of still and whisky.
