Bloom, Win, Kellogg, Sr., E. F. Martin, J. C. Abbott: ' ' Stirring speeches were made by A. II. gIvllowat and others in. favor of the Republican Republican Party, nd the, following Resolutions Resolutions were adopted : j , Whereas it has pleased ithe great Republican Republican party of the Nation!, to establish laws whereby the fundamental principles of the Constitution of the United States, and the Declaration of Independence are no longer a libel upon the American people : AD Whereas the assertion made by our forefathers that all men are created free and equal is now one of the fixed factsofthe Nation, therefore bs it ' i licsohed. That we, the citizen voters of New Hanover County, heartily endorse the recent acts of Congress and the ratification of the same by the Richmond ConVention, and join hiiads with them in the adoption of impariiar8uffrage, and manhood as "the groundwork of our. party. , , ; The meeting then gave three' cheers for Gen.
