HUXLEY—Funeral services for Paul Wenos, VI. who died Thursday at the home of his daughter. Mrs. Willie Richardson, were held here Saturday. The Rev. Peder Buland was in charge of servfces both at the home and at the church. At the home, Mrs. Roy Elliott sang two selections and special music at the church was provided by the choir, a quartet composed of Dorothy Larson, Robert Larson. Gladys Tweedt and Walter Christopher, and by Mrs. Elliott and Walter Christopher. Pall bearers were Thor Mason, Pete Sheld- hi, Osmond Larson, Andrew T. FjeHand, Erner.i. Nelson and R. P. Brendeland. Interment was in the Palestine cemetery. Paul Weiios was born in Levanger, Norway, July 3, 1S64, the ton of Olai and Guro Wenos. He came to the United States at the age of 16 and had lived most of the time since then in northern Polk county and this community. In 1S90, he married Helen Fjelland and to them six children were born, three of whom survive: Andrew,. Mrs. Willie .Richardson and Mrs.. Arthur Larson, all of near Huxley. A son Henry .died in 1916, one daughter, Amelia, died in 1921 and another daughter, Alice Cecilia, died in 1907. Mrs. Wenos died in 1910, and two sisters and (wo brothers preceded him in death. Mr. Wenos had been ill with tuberculosis for the past three years. Besides his three children, he leaves three grandchildren, Dorothy and Betty Larson and Edna Wenos.
