The building will also be the operations base for the filming. Three sound movie sets have been constructed in the vacant space and shoppers at the mall will be free to view the three movie sets at any time, Debra Ricicar, mall secretary, said. One of the sets is for shooting interior car scenes: another, for interior beach house scenes; and the third for scenes of a television news station. Texas-born Ken Roberson and George Kennedy are top stars of the movie, based on the James Hadley Chase novel, Hit and Run. Matt Cimber is director. The story has been brought up to date with an oil rig and drug smuggling background. Jefferson Richard is producer of the film with Eddie Kafafian, associate producer. Eddy van der Enden is cinematographer; cinematographer; Sanford Hampton, production manager; and Claudio Cutry, film editor. Kennedy, who won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in "Cool Hand Luke" and has starred in many other movies, also writes mystery novels and he was at the mall last Saturday autographing his books Murder on High and Murder on Location.The books are available at B.
