Mrs. Townsend Services Slated At Canistota By Republic News Service CANISTOTA — Funeral services services will be held Tuesday afternoon afternoon for Mrs. Archie Townsend 73, who died suddenly at her home here Saturday. Rites are scheduled for p.m., Tuesday at the Canistota Methodist Church with the Rev Rodney Gist officiating. Buria will be made in the Canistota cemetery with the Kinzley Fu neral Home of Salem in charge of arrangements. Olive Addy, daughter of Mr and Mrs. George Addy, wa born at Meridan, Iowa, Jan. 28 1893. She grew to womanhood in that area and on March 30, 191! was married to Archie L. Town sand at Cleghorn, Iowa. The moved to Bridgewater to farm in 1916 and in 1919 moved to a farm near Canistota Since 1955 they have made thei home in Canistota. • Mrs. Townsend was a mem her of the Canistota Rebeka Lodge and the Canistota Metho dist Church. Survivors include the widow er; two daughters, Mrs. Leon ard (Vera) McDade of Gar dena, Calif., and Mrs. Joe (Bev ;rly) Grass of Canistota; thre sons, Lloyd, Lester and Dale o Canistota.
