O.E.Ross Dies on Way To Doctor Oscar Elmer "Ossie" Ross, S3, of 205 N. Fourth St.. died suddenly about 12:30 p.m. yesterday when he was striken ill on the second floor of the Green Building in Franklin. He had an appointment with Dr. Kelse M.' Hoffman • and became ill near his office. Dr. Hoffman examined Mr. Ross and pronounced him dead when he reached him. itor. Ross was - born Dec. 24, 1875, at Andover, 0., a' son of John and Miranda Goodwill Ross. He married Mary Elizabeth Gilson at Gilson Ridge March 14, 1900. She preceded him in death May 22, 1952. Mr. Ross ; was a' farmer, later and Universal Cyclops Steel Corp "He also worked for the city am was employed at the Water Works He wa's a member of the First Methodist Church, the Methodist Men's group, the IOOF Queen City Lodge and the IOOF Petrolia Encampment. He is survived by one son Raymond J. Ross of Saegertown { one granddaughter, two great grandsons, and .one sister, Cora Gilson of Titusville. One daughter, Carrie Ileen Ross, preceded him in death in 1934.
