Singer Wilfred (Billy) Williams, 74 Wilfred (Billy) Williams, a popular singer whose quartet was a regular on the Sid Caesar and Imogene Coca spectacular "Your Show of Shows," died July 16 in New York City. He was 74 and had been hospitalized after a heart attack. Williams had been with a group called the Charioteers Charioteers for many years but left them to form his own quartet The Billy Williams Quartet appeared on the TV variety show from 1950 until the Saturday night variety program went off the air in 1954. In recent years Williams had been involved in a program to help homeless New York City men.
