HOGS HARVEST PEAKDTS. Cobb McCovry Find It a Profitable Business. FICIAL TO Taz NÂ«wÂ«, Waelder, Tex., Sept. 2G.-Cobb McCorry shipped out a car of fat hogs to Houston today. Mr. Cobb, in an Interview with your correspondent, salds that these were bought six and eight weeks ago and were fattened entirely on peanuts, of which they have about eighty acres. They did not harvest the peanuts, but herded the hogs in the field and the did the, harvesting. This way, Mr. Cobb says, is tho way to raise hogs and as the cost of raising peanuts will not be half as much as raising cotton, besides profit will be better. They have two more cars nearly ready ship and have about two-thirds of the nuts left. Cotton Is about all gathered, and the formers are having a hard time getting hands to gather the scattering cotton, as the hands have about all left. The cotton did not turn out as well as was expected ihe first of the. season.
