Henry Trisler The Beatrice Daily Sun 27 SEpt 1962 - Fairbury, apparently as tough as last season...
Fairbury, apparently as tough as last season when the Jeffs knocked knocked off hosting Beatrice 25-8, boast a top notch one-two scoring punch. Last season it was the "touch down twins'- Kaye Carstens and John Nespor. With the latter now an alumni of the Jeff school,'his former teammate Carstens has paired up with hurdler Bob Smith to give Coach Cliff Dale the hell's apoppin-twins. Smith, a hard running senior halfback, switched from end, weighs 165. Carstens, a real speedster, speedster, is also a senior halfback and weighs 182. To darken the Beatrice picture, picture, the Orangemen lost Henry Trisler, 195-pound senior. Trisler checked in his togs and dropped .out of school the middle of the week. "Trisler will be missed. He was a top middle guard on defense and was certain to letter," states Coach Hank Reichel. Larry Riggs, 196-pound non-lettering non-lettering senior, has been named to take over for Trisler. Beatrice co-captains Friday night will be LeWayne Feit and Don Roberts, both senior lettermen.
