HARRY AILEY .,. rites Wednesday Harry E. Alley, 57 Services for Harry E. Alley, 57, of 3809 Second St. will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Davis- Morris Funeral Home with Rev. Pat McClatchey officiating. Burial is to be in Eastlawn Memorial Park. Mr, Alley died at 3 p.m. Monday In the Brownwood Community Hospital Monday after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was born March 4, 1917 in Tipton, Iowa and was pressroom superintendent for the Brownwood Bulletin. He had been on the Bulletin staff since September 1948. He had served five years in the army and was in the European theater of operations during World War II. When discharged he was a sergeant. He was a member of the Central United Methodist Church and had lived in Brownwood since 1948. He married Jean Ruth McDaniel in Dallas on July 6, 1942. Survivors include his wife; a daughter Janet Shampanore of Garland; a sister, Mrs. Frances Brumley of San Antonio; four brothers, Paul Ailey of Houston, Melvin Ailey of Richmond, Calif., DeWayne Ailey of Tipton, Tipton, Iowa, and Raymond Alley of Winter Park, Fla.
