Funeral Services for Mary Menke Are *» . ^. «^b. Held At West Point SoeoiaH To The Hawk-j*v<» West Point, la., April 8.— Funeral services were held for Miss Mary Menke at St. Mary' 3 church on Thursday Thursday morning, April 7, who passed away at her home near West Point Monday afternoon. Miss Menke was 21 years old at the time of her death and had only been in one week. She was a member of St., Mary's church and the Young Ladies Sodality; Cecil Thompson, Earl and Everett Emmert of Grinnell, la., arrived here to coEiplete their work on Pitman bridge. Miss Gertrude Sporkman of it. Madison attended the Menke funeral Thursday morning. Edward Weishaar spent several days in Ft. Madison this week. Robert Wilson of Winf ield, la., visited visited relatives here recently. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Cantril visited in Ft. Madison.
