Mrss. Shiner Honored At Pretty Party In honor of her sister, Mrs. K. C. Shiner, Mrs. George Roeth, Jr., en- en- tertained a company of friends yes-, yes-, yes-, terday afternoon nt her home on West Fifth street. During the afternoon afternoon games were played and for the clever advertising contest Mrs.' Joe . Kavanaugh was awarded the prize, a dainty handkerchief. In the j gum molding Contest Mrs. Eugene! Marinan was most successful and I the favor was presented to her. Mrs. Shiner the guest of honor j entertained tbe company with a number number of very beautihil piano selections. Her music was greatly enjoyed by the party of friends. . At the close of tho happy after-, after-, after-, noon the guests were served vithj appetizing refreshments. The pinkj note had been carried out in all of the appointments. Individual cakes iced in pink, pink Ice cream, and a dessert topped with marshmallow and crushed strawberrlss were included In the menu. For the children of the party a small table bad been spread, and it was an exact duplicate of the larger table for the grown people. Roses in hand-painted hand-painted hand-painted vases made the home very, beautiful. Tbe "guests included Mesdames J. S. Carson, L. E.' Canady, Charles Thle, E. J. Schies, Eugene Marinan, Robert W. Anderson, F. C. Onion, Joe Kavanaugh, Frank Swartz, Charles Flack, W. S. Anderson and the guest of honor, Mrs. Shiner. The little people people enjoying the parly were Dorothy Roeth, Lucile Onion, Eileen Carson and Jamesey Shiner. . 4
