Wedding In Sidney The chancel of the First Methodist Church in Sidney was decorated with lighted candles and white poinsettias for the Sunday afternoon, Dec. 27. wedding of Miss Sarah Lynn Nelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl F. Nelson of Sidney, and Eric Burt Eiscnhart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh W. Eisenhart of Cambridge. The 3 o’clock service was read by the Rev. John Stayton. Frocked in sapphire blue crepe and carrying white pompon chrysanthemums and lighted candles were Mrs. Howard Rasmussen, East Lansing, Mich., t h e matron of honor; and t h e bridesmaids, Miss Ellen Elisenhart, Cambridge, and Mrs. David Babbitt, Omaha. Gary Estergard of Crete. served as best man, and the ushers were Lyle Dehning, Longmont, Colo.; David Babbitt. Omaha; Edward Heilman, Cambridge: and Randall Rinquist, Lincoln. Traditional white satin fashioned the bride’s princess gown. Petal appliques of Alencon lace trimmed the snug bodice and bell skirt, which extended into a cotillion-length train, and her illusion veil was held by a queen’s crown of lace. She carried a cascade of white roses and stephanotis. The couple will reside in Lincoln, where the bridegroom is a student at the University of Nebraska College of Law. He is a graduate of Doane College, Crete. Mrs. Eisenhart is a graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University and a member of Willard sororitv.
