Louis Conrad - milk truck accident
MILK TRUCK SKIDS ON RAILS; GOES OVER BANK When Louis Conrad, milkman, residing at 5400 Colclesser avenue, Eldorado, was driving his truck toward this city at 8 o'clock this morning, the machine skidded on the slippery street car rails at Sixth avenue and Forty- ninth street with the result that Mr. Conrad and machine crashed through tho shop fence close at hand and landed in tho Held below the road level. Fortunately Mr. Conrad escaped injury except a general shaking up. The truck, too, escaped damage of consequence although the left running board and fenders were stoved in somewhat. One of the J. E. Ellenberger stone trucks came along shortly after t:ie accident and by using a tow line pulled the milk truck out of its position over the bank. There was some milk spilled as a result of the accident.
