Action of ejectment to recover a mill property. The property In diipute waa sold at Orphans' Court sale lu 1870. to Adam W. Haag. a eon ol defendant's, who lu 1877 conveyed toe undivided one - half to his mother, t - manna Haag, claiming that he gave it to her as a gift. In 187S ne conveyed tbe other half to John a. Hpais. a brotlur - in law, who convened It to Susanna Haag for a valuable oonsldaratlon. Io 1379 the prop rty was sold at sheriffs taie. on an execution on a judgment obtaiued against Joel Haag and subsequently revived, the plaintiff in this suit becoming the purchaser At tli - time of tbe Sheriff a sale notice was given tbat the said Joel Haag had no interest In tne property. The defendants are now in possession of tne property, which la located in Jefferson township, and contains 23 acres and 87 perches of arable land. Ou trial. companies
