John Young records his Stock Mark, a slit in each enr and Brand thus y. John A. Chnpm;.n took the oath of a Deputy Sheriff, and entered iu - to bond. j It is ordered by the Court, that Hugh M. Blake, John Buchanan, i Robert Proctor, Thomis Leonard, Thomas Gibson, Lewis Medlin, and Joseph Froctcr, be a Jury of View to ; Fay-view and mark eff a road, the nearest '( and best way from Fayettevil'e to the dividing Ridge, say the county I iine of Bedford, in a direction to the Fishing Ford atid on to Nashville. Issued 3-1 day of May, 1S11. It is ordered bv the Court, that Willooghby Pugh, Lewis Pugh, William William Pugh, Uriah- Yolk, Joseph Dean, Jacob Clemmons, i d Fayton Worthy, be a Jury to view and mark a road, round a field cf Moses Ferguson (as it is stated to this Court that the present way injures said farm very materially, and that there can be a way gat round equally as good, not exceeding twenty rods fur- ther than the present way.) Issued 3d June, 1811. The Court allows one dollar and fifty cents for f-vcry Wolf Scalp kill - ed in this county. It is ordered by the Court, that the Commissioners for fixing the Seat of Justice in Lincoln county, be allowed allowed two dollars for each day they have been employed in said business.
