Students Four honorable mentlons and three piaces were ewarded to liberty Student* et the First InvltaUonal Horace Mann Math Tournament on May 12 at Horace Mann Jr. High School in Baytown A taam consisttng at Lsuren Murphy, Laura Ehl, Lee Ann Malone, and Peg^y Wyrick won 3rd place in taam lest. Scooter fUnard won a 3rd place and Beth Hylton took a 4th place In 6th grade fiwsintiw taste. Honorable mentions were ewarded to: Lee Ann Malone, 6th grade general computations; computations; Lauren Murphy, 8th grade calculator tests; Karmen Hinch, 7th grade word problems; snd Beth Hylton, 6th grade numbers and fractiona teet. Participants from Sam Houston Elementary School in the 6th grade division were Julia Jeffery, Caren Brown, Kellie Fontenot, Scooter Kinard, Dean Fry, Devid Hevner, Charlotte Shauberger, Dee Hughes, Shelly Rleves, and Beth Hylton.
