MRS. JOHN T. TOYNE (Timet Herald Newi Serr1e«> LANESBORO - Mrs. John T. Toyne, 79, died at 1:10 a.m. Saturday Saturday at her home in Lanesbbro after after a four-year illness. A Carroll County resident since 1912, she had lived in Lanesboro 11 years. Funeral services are tentatively set for 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, at the Lanesboro Community Methodist Church, with the Rev. Lester J. Hancock officiating. Burial Burial will be in the Lanesboro Cemetery. Cemetery. The body is resting at the Huffman Huffman Memorial Chapel in Lake City until the time of the rites. Mrs. Toyne, the former Katherine Katherine Elizabeth Rossow, was born Aug. 18, 1879, at Syracuse, N. Y. She came to Iowa in 1892. Her marriage to Mr. Toyne took place Feb. 7, 1906. at Lohrville. They celebrated their golden wedding wedding anniversary three years ago. Mrs. Toyne is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Oscar A. (Aleeta) Peters, Van Meter; Mrs. Walter I. (Ruth) Pemble, Sac City; Mrs. Austin L. (Margaret) Britt, Glidden; one son, John Elden Toyne, Lanesboro; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one brother, Frank Rossow. Yakima. Wash. Her parents, four brothers and one sister are deceased. Mrs. Toyne was a member of the Community Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge of Lake City.
