New York, Mrs. Webb was married there in ATnrph iftRfl It was in 1887 that she and her husband left the eastern state to make their home in Chilliwack. The couple farmed for two or three years after their arrival here till Mr. Webb became auditor for the municipality, a post he held for over 20 years. Following her husband's retirement, retirement, Mrs. Webb enjoyed several trips to California. Highlight of their retiring years came in 1945 when they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. A telegram of congratulations was received from King George and Queen Elizabeth on that occassion. Mrs. Webb is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Bruce (Bertha L.)
