3-Car Crash Sheriff Stanley McKee today reported a three-car crash about 4:20 p.m. Thursday at the intersection intersection of Three Mile Road and Mackinac Trail, involving cars operated by William J. Wolfe, 753rd Radar Squadron, Woodrow Peterson Jr.. and William Ware 921 Swinton St. According to the sheriffs report, report, the Peterson car, eastbound on Three Mile and stopped for (he stop sign before turning into Mackinac Trail, was struck in the rear by the Wolfe auto. Both drivers got out to examine damage, damage, when the Ware vehicle, also also eastbound, struck the Wolfe car, driving it again into the the rear of the Peterson auto. Because of blizzard conditions prevailing at the time, no tickets were issued, the sheriff said.
