Diane Glatfelter becomes bride of Steven Bortner GLEN ROCK The marriage of Diane M. Glatfelter, Glen Rock RD 2, and Steven G. Bortner, Glen Rock RD 1, took place Saturday at 2 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Church. The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dean B. Glatfelter, and the bridegroom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Bortner, were married by Rev. Allen Wysocki, pastor. A floor-length floor-length floor-length gown of white peau-de-soie peau-de-soie peau-de-soie peau-de-soie peau-de-soie was selected by the bride. It was styled along princess lines with a high neckline, long bishop sleeves with a belted back. Chantilly lace appliques accented the gown which also had seed pearls. Her veil was of floor-length floor-length floor-length silk illusion edged with matching lace held in place with a lace juliet cap. The maid of honor was Cheryl Werner. Serving as bridesmaids were Shirley Blevins and Nancy Michael. Best man was Mark Zimmerer. The ushers were Lloyd Myers" and Larry Miller. The acolyte and ringbearer was Glenn Geiple. The vocal soloist was Diane Michael with Mrs. Margaret Fritz presiding at the console of the organ. A reception was held at Moser's Restaurant, West York, after New Freedom Lions plan pancake day NEW FREEDOM A public pancake day will be held Saturday, Oct. 30, by New Freedom Lions' Club, the entire proceeds to be donated to the Kidney Foundation. Serving will start at 6 a.m. at the New Freedom playground dining hall and continue to 6 p.m. Lions Club members will cook and serve a menu featuring sausage and pancakes.
