Bingham Canyon Postal Aid, 43 r Succumbs After Illness BINGHAM—Daniel (Dee) Fredrick Fredrick Johanson, 43, 90 Main St., assistant postmaster at Bingham Canyon, died in a Salt Lake hospital hospital Saturday at 8:20 p.m. of a heart ailment. He had been ill about three months. Mr. Johanson was born Feb. 25, 1905, in Salt Lake City, a son of Andrew Edwin and Ida Oberhansli Johanson. Spending his childhood in Salt' Lake City, he moved to Bingham with his parents as a young man. He received his education in Salt Lake and .Bingham public schools and married Lola Rawle Carrigan, Sept. 21, 1933, in Salt Lake temple. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had served with .the post office department for the past 20 years, and also had done some freelance photography and writing for The -.Salt Lake Tribune.. Active in LD, S church work, Mr. Johanson as a youth participated participated in Bingham "M" men activities. activities. He also served as super intendent of Bingham ward; Sunday Sunday schools and superintendent of West Jordan stake Sunday schools Mr.: Johanson,'at 'the time 01 his death, was a Sunday schoo! counselor in Bingham LOS ward. He also was treasurer of the Bingham Canyon Lions club. Survivors, besides his widow, include include two daughters, Denece ant Sheryl Johanson, Bingham, and two sisters, Mrs. George Lund Salem, Ore., and Mrs. J. H.
