White 112 Delaware Court, vice pres and trust officer 'of the Citizens .Banking Company, who 1 died late Tuesday night at St.: John's Hospital, will be conduct-: cd Friday at 1:30 p. m. in the Waltz and Hiday chapel. Dr. W. H. Bransford, pastor of Ihe First Methodist Church, will officiate. The family will receive friends at Waltz arid Hiday Funeral Home after 1 o'clock this afternoon. . Mr. While, who had been In failing health.for several weeks, returned March 15 from a recuperative trip to Arizona. He was upon his return and bean work again last week. He as-taken seriously ill Tuesday fternoon and .was admitted to he hospital. Born July 28, 1884, In Moores- ilie, Ind., the son of Mr. and Irs. William White, Mr. While tas graduated from Mooresville iigh School in 1904 and married lartha Har'rah Dec. 14, 1910. He as employed in the Morresville ost Office for some time, after 'hich he, worked in Ihe Farmers there. .He was later with ic Columbia National Bank, In- lanapolis, and then a director f the White and Wilson Funeral [ome at Mooresville. He served as chief .state bank and went to the Myer- aiser Bank in Miami, Fla., in He came to Anderson in the part of 1926 and succeeded Ed Hoovin as cashier at the Citi Bank, and in 1931 was ap vice president and trus ilficer of the Citizens Banking Company, a position ho held a ho time of his death. He was a member of the Firs Church, Elks, and Ma onic lodges, and the Columbia Club at Indianapolis. At Moores 'ilie he had been superintenden I (he Methodist Sunday School ie had also taken part in man; drives and civic ai airs prior to his illness. He Is survived by .the widow, Irs. Martha While, active Red utes civic leader for many j n Iwo daughters, Belly Bal ard, Anderson, and H e l e Phoenix, Ariz.; a loser son, -Joseph Workman; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, including Dr. Paul Owens, Little Rock, Ark.
