THE RKV. OSCAR Stern of Cz»cho«lorakla, widely traveled traveled speaker and preacher, will give an address at the Calvary Calvary Ooapel Assembly church In Estherville at S p. m. tomorrow. tomorrow. Reverend Stern, a man of Jewish birth and training, training, became a Christian white a young man and because of this was disowned by his wealthy wealthy parents. He was arrested by Hitler's Restspo before the outbreak of World War II and was placed In an underground prison at Koenlgsberg, East Prussia. He suffered a stroke after a severe beating by a prison guard and was helpless for many days. Reverend Stern was taken to a Nasi hospital from which he escaped. Btneo his escape and recovery he has been traveling throughout Europe Europe and America preaching and speaking. His lectures have been well received by public school, college and church audiences audiences in this country from coast, to coast.
