Native Of Dubois County Dies At 80 Lawrence Breidenbaugh, 80, of Washington, a retired farmer who was a native of Dubois County, died in the Daviess County Hospital in Washington at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, following an extended illness. He had been seriously ill for the past month. Mr. Breidenbaugh was bom in Boone township on Jan. 30, 1886, the son of John and Elizabeth Hoffman Breidenbaugh. On Feb. 14, 1905, he was married to Charlotte Rudolph. She passed away on Aug. 31, 1941, and on April 1st of the following year he married Augusta Potts Lynch, who survives. He was a member of the Evangelical U.B. Church at Washington. Surviving besides the wife are a son, Vachel E. of Terre Haute; a stepdaughter 9 Mrs. E s t a Wheeler, and a stepson, Adrian Lynch, both of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Weber of R. 2, Jasper and Mrs. Alex Iva Swickard of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, four great - grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren, 24 stepgreat* grandchildren and four stepgreat - great - grandchildren. A son, O. J. Breidenbaugh, and a stepson, Herbert Lynch, died in 1965. Two brothers and three sisters are also deceased. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Gill Funeral Home in Washington, where the funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Howard P. Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Portersville Cemetery around 12 noon.
