36 TONS OF ELEPHANTS COMING TO INDIANA ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 11 Four massive herds of ponderous pachyderms will invade Indiana Wednesday, May 11, when the all- r.cw and larger Downie Bros. Big 3- Ring Circus pays its annual visit. The big show has been enlarged in •every detail and is said to surpass even the wonderful performance of previous years. An entirely new array of artists, including the inimitable ,loe Hodgini and his family of world-renowned bare back riders: the Seven Cressoninns, world'famous aggregation of letter-board and acrobatic marvels; the Royal Five, a novelty sensation recently imported from Australia; the Larkins Troupe of flying trapeze artists; Butters Family of wire wizards; Captain Burt fart- ridge, Ihe greatest horse trainer in ;:)! circujjdom with the famous Charles Sparks equine beauties in a magnificent display; Bert Wallace, world acclaimed trainer of wild boasts; Buck Taylor, the supreme master of the largest brutes that walk the earth'in an astounding exhibition of power of man over beast; Professor Picard with an all-new display of trained sea lions, three troupes performing simultaneously in throe massive rings, juggling difficult objects upon their noses, walking across strands of steel and playing-upon musical instruments; Miss Marion Shuflord with her Hollywood Ballet of moving 'picture girls in an elaborate equestrienne display, are but a few of the hundreds of sights in store for the circus fans in Indiana. Performances are scheduled at 2:30 and 8 p. m.
