Mrs. Nell Peters COOPER - Mrs. Nell Peters of Cooper died Sunday, Sunday, July 31, at 9 a.m. at Delta Nursing Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Johnson of Bonham officiating officiating and. burial in Charleston Cemetery. Mrs. Peters was born in Delta County on May 7, 1886, a daughter of J. H. Oats and Synthia Elizabeth McGuyer Oats. She had lived lived in Charleston most of her life and was a member of the Methodist church. In 1905, she married E. G. Peters who died in 1959. Surviving are four sons, Paul Peters and Thomas Peters of Cooper, Jolly Peters of Charleston and Brownie Peters of Dallas; one daughter, Mrs. Phillip (Madeline) Ingram of Paris; 18grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren. Two sons, Noel and Choice Peters, preceded her in death. The family will receive friends at? p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
