MICHAEL WATCHES LAURELES ROUNDUP By LOIS FELDER KINGSVILLE -- Former King Michael of Romania and members of his party this morning were witnessing a roundup at the Laureles division of the King Ranch. Those In Party The ex-king, who arrived at the ranch last night after a flight from Cleveland, Ohio, in a chartered plane, saw the ranch cowhands rope, brand and ship the cattle. Members of Michael's party who attended the roundup were Mircea lonitius, the former monarch's private secretary, and Mrs. lonitius; Gen. Constantin Petre-Lazar, military aide; Maj. Jacques Bergoti, prefect of the royal house; B. C. Georgescu, personal friend of the ex-king. Queen Helen, Michael's mother, did not make the trip to the ranch and apparently stayed in Cleveland. Members of the royal party were to partake of a chuck wagon dinner at noon today. Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Kleberg, Jr., Miss Helen Kleberg, Mr. and Mrs. Richard M. Kleberg, Sr., Mrs. John A.-L,arkin, Mr. and Mrs. Richard M. Kleberg, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Jim Clement and Bobbie Shelton, sen of the late Mrs. Sarah Kleberg Shelton, were at Laureles with the visitors. Slfhtrcers Line Up A mile-long line of cars had formed at the ranch gates yesterday afternoon before the ex-king's plane arrived. A guard was maintained at the gate last night and occupants of all cnrs seeking entrance were stopped and questioned. A seated dinner for the visitors was held at Santa Gertrudis last night. Michael and members of his party spent the night there. Others who came to the ranch from Cleveland .with the ex-king were A. Wnrner Melvin, of New York; William Husky, of the Department, nnd Lcroy Dennian; Jr., of San Antonio. They spent the night at Casa Ricardo Hotel Kingsville. The chartered plane was still South Field in Kingsville today. Michael, who is receiving no visitors, has not announced how long he will stay at the ranch. Princess Anne Under Orders Not To Talk PARIS, April 2. (IP)--Princess Anne of Bourbon Parma is collecting 12 new spring outfits for her wedding trousseau from one of leading fashion stylists in Paris. She expects to have everything ready by the end of this month for her marriage to former King Michael of Romania, but beyond that she has no information for the press and public. "I have the strictest orders to say nothing," she aaid while being photographed during a. fitting of a blue-black net evening dress. "I don't know when the wedding will take place or how long-I will stay in Paris." Anne's mother, Princess Margrethe, fitting a white evening gown in the next booth, seconded her daughter's vow of Hllonce. "I'm a bow-wow," said Anne's mother. "I keep all newsmen from my daughter. We have been so bothered by photographers find journalists that wo have a n family rule--pictures but no interviews." ·
