Obituary. [Communicated.} Mrs. Mary (Daughenbaugh) Deemer Deemer was born in Center county. Pa., Oct. 15, 1845, and died at her home near Orangeville, Stephenson county, 111., Nov. 23, 1905, aged 60 years, one month and eight days. When she was but a child, in the spring of 1846, the family came to this state, locating on a farm near Orangeville, 111. Here the mother died many years ago, and on February February 20, 185)9, the father, Christian Daughenbaugh, died, Mrs. Deemer keeping house for her father until his death. She was married to Samuel Deemer Deemer Jan. 23, 18«3. To this union were born two sous, who are left to mourn —Thomas, of Freeport, and Frank at home. Also one sister, Mrs. George Emerick, of Afolkey, and two brothers, Christian and Johnathan Daughonbaugh, of Orangeville, 111. Her husband, preceded her to the spirit world Oct. 31, 1890. Many relatives live in and near Orangeville, Orangeville, pioneer residents of Stephenson Stephenson county. Mrs. Deemer was a great sufferer for a long time with the dread disease, disease, cancer. Her remains, by her own request, were laid by the side of those of her father, in Belleview cemetery. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Groif. ofOraugeville. J. GBOFF.
