Wenck, Oneonta R. D. 3, becama the bride of Gary LeRoy Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Smith of New Berlin, R. D 3, in a ceremony July 15 at he West Laurens Community Church. Presiding at the service wan the Rev. Wilfred Lyon. Organist was Nancy Goodspeed of Wesl Oneonta. Escorting the bride to the altar was Eric Ernst. The bride's gown was of whita Chantilly lace over white taffeta. She carried a bouquet of white, blue and g r e e carnations. Maid of honor Miss Donna Smith of New Berlin R. D. 3 wore a gown of blue chiffon crepe .with rhinestone straps. She carried blue and while tinted carnations and baby's breath. Miss Noreen Knapp of "West Laurens and Miss Donna Handy of Laurens were bridesmaids. They wore gowns of pink and green respectively, styled like the maid of honor's and carried bouquets of carnations and baby's breath. Gary Harrington of New Berlin D. D. 3 was best man. Ushers were Gary Knapp and Herbert Ernst of West Laurens. A reception for 150 guests followed at the West Laurens Grange Hall. The wedding cake was made by Mrs. Georga Kukulech. The couple are residing New Berlin R. D. 3 following a camping trip. The bride was graduated from the Laurens Central School and has been employed by the Oneonta Dress Compan;; Smith is a high school graduate and is engaged in fanning.
