years a lettermen. Lawson, switched from tackle'to end, and Halrston, a converted back from Williamson, are other fine boys on hand. Two Brilliant Backflelds Rowlan should be able to put two backflelds on the field which can play football in anybody's league. To start with, he has Fllppen, who probably the best fullback In Negri football. Bus Thompson, regular back and a high scorer a year ago is going good but is finding a lot of opposition fiom Roberts, a regular back two years ago who was not school in 1935. Roberts is one of the best ball carriers the school ever had and his return will be a big help. In addition to these three lettermen, Gunn and Brooks, who divided the quarterback chores In 1935, aro on hand. Among the new backs available are two boyu from Steelton, Pa. Roy Hughes, 200 halfback, Is a whirlwind whirlwind and a fine quarterback prospect prospect is Stevenson, who captained Steelton high school last season. Other backs are Mathews from last year and a boy named Hale who bails from Gary and Is the fastest back on the- squad.- 1D36 Big Bine Schedule Sept. 26—Virginia State, Petersburg, Va.
