She and She milk the program a Mexican four The at our Lady will the Sergeant Is Killed COALINGA (Fresno Co.), July 20. --Mrs. Phyllis MacLean, of Coalinga, Coalinga, has been informed of the death in action on Okinawa of her husband, Technical Sergeant Gordon Gordon MacLean. The notification came s t e r i a l ' i n a letter from Marine Gunnery Sergeant . Allen MacLean, who also fought in the Okinawa struggle. Allan MacLean wrote he visited his brother's company as soon as word came to him that Gordon been killed. He conferred with his brother's commanding officer, who told him Gordon MacLean, as he 20. and "it of to approach body had done in previous bat taes, f fe « was fellow soldiers when he was killed June 15th, just two days after Allan had visited him. Gordon MacLean, who was 25, was reared and educated in this community. He had been in the service for six years and was in action on Leyte, Guam, the Philippines Philippines and Okinawa. He volunteered as an aerial gunner on bomber missions over Luzon. He is survived by his widow; year old daughter, Rickie Jean; his mother, Mrs. Laura MacLean of Ojai: his father, Allan MacLean of Philadelphia; his brother and two sisters, Margaret and Patricia of Pleasanton.
